that's a small boat coming from you, what happend with the other two masts?...
the sky is like a painting yet the foreground is very sharp, so it's like sailing into a painting... i like it alot, very well done

This is a lovely picture of sailing. The toning of the picture is excellent with the smooth sails standing out against the silk textures of the clouds and the darkness of the sea. Sailing is something I enjoy, though don't do very often - a highly technical mode of transport in which it is necessary to use both brain and muscle to steer the correct course.
Your composition is first rate, thank you very much.

A very fine composition with the boat well placed. Nice soft B&W but maybe just a little bit on the dark side.

Great B&W composition, with a sepia tone that fits perfectly. I like the nostalgic atmosphere you have captured. Great job.

Very good frame with excellent composition, the W/B version is very good.
The clouds are great and suits the frame well.

an extremely beautiful photograph
your composition seems to be just about perfect
and the sepia tone is adding softness to the photograph which seems to work quite well here.
you really seem to be in love with boats. do yo uhave any similar photographs shot with a black and white infrared film?
take care

beautiful photo, great composure, amazing clouds & sky, i'm glad you included so much of it. Would like a more informative note, such as postwork, etc. Maybe a post to the workshop removing those 2 other sailboats would have a positive effect. thanks a lot for sharing :)
