The pond of the Greek, commune of Palavas-les-Flots.

One can see haughty flamingos there, in peaceful or animated conversation.

The ponds of the Greek is a littoral pond, in zone lagunaire, located at the North-East of the commune, limited to north by the channel of the Rhone with Sète and to the south by the road of Palavas to Carnon, which allows an easy observation of many limicolous, laridés and sternidés, pink flamingos and brushes, thus that of ducks foulques and grèbes.

The pink flamingos per hundreds, are perched there on their long pink legs, even red, they show with ostentation their splendid red and black wings in a sometimes noisy atmosphere of cries comparable with those of geese.
