Cliffs of Etretat, a photo from Haute-Normandie, North

Photographer's Note

Walking on the cliffs of Etretat you can admire the most wonderful views. The rock formations, the greens of the grass, white beaches and the clear water make beautiful scenarys. To get an idea of scale you can spot the 3 people on the beach.
The light was very strong so it was not easy to get a well balanced exposure buti think this one succed. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi,
Your composition is well composed with good pov on the cliffs of Ettretat. You hightlight one of the typical rock of that place.
Yes the light seem's to be very hard, not easy to shot by that condition. But perhaps you have saturate a little bit too much colors in post traitment(?), specifically on the grass.

What a fantastic viewpoint, no good for anyone with vertigo! I like your composition! The shadows on the beach and in the water add subtle interest.
I agree with Oliver; I think you might have oversaturated a little.

You found the poerfect POV for this shot, Kik. Yes, the light is very harsh, so it was good that you composed this with only a sliver of the sky in frame. Cheers . . . David

Hi kiks,
the light was difficult indeed and I would probably not even try but you did a great job here. The rock formations are fantastic and the processing well emphasized the texture of their surface.
Very suitable here vertical frame. Wonderful place, I would love to visit it some time.
