Half-light depths.

In the Odysseum district in Montpellier, the aquarium "Mare Nostrum" of 1 200 000 liters.
In the half-light depths, some gray shark, (Carcharhinus plumbeus), sharks of full water. Its 14 to 15 lines of teeth are useful for him to nourish small sharks, fish, octopuses and shellfish.

One sight of the aquarium
Other sight of the aquarium

Photograph difficult to take with my very limited apparatus, and because of the lack of light and the movement of the sharks. They are obliged to swim permanently, in order to maintain via their mouth, a current of water bringing oxygen to their gills, contrary to the other fish which via their mouth, pump water by movements of their gills.

Montpellier is the chief town of the Languedoc-Roussillon Area, populated of 244 300 (in 2005), Montpelliérains and Montpelliéraines, distributed on 57 km², is 3 963 hab/km². The urban surface is populated of 531 000 inhabitants. The population has increased in an uninterrupted way for 50 years, at a rate of mor than 1000 newcomers per month.
