In Warnemunde, on the Baltic Sea, the ship docked right in a charming tourist area where a carnival atmosphere prevailed. Since this was Boat Week, there were sailboats everwhere. They darted in front of huge freighters, and barely managed to remain upright in the gusty winds. I was particularly interested in this hand-operated draw bridge over the ‘Old River.” A harbor tour revealed the port as toward the town of Rostock was very industrial. The harbor is located in the mouth of the Warnow River

I hope is not too hard to turn the wheel. Nice picture with the wheel taking central focus. The colours are saturated just right and there are no distractions. I think your trip over Europe was very enjoyable. Thanks Larry.

I thought it's a very good pov, with the wheel as focus. I like the sailboat formations on the distant, colours and sharpness are well. tfs

I've never seen a hand-operated draw bridge before so you have taught something new about the world. Of course it makes sense that they would exist. Good framing against the waterfromnt scene. HLJ, Pat

It is a nice point of view, looking along the canal with the old bridge operating wheel in front!
Good composition with many interesting details, attractive colours...
