Photographer's Note
Cologne´s romanic church Groß St. Martin
was built 1185-1220.
The tower and the roof were destroyed during
WWII (1939-45) but soon rebuilt after the war,
the work was not finished until 1984.
(in the complete view you would see the cathedral
on the right.)

Hi Thorsten,
Yet another beautiful shot from Köln. Your series about this city is superb. It brings me 30 years back, when I did my military duty in this city. I got a lot of souvenirs abouot this period. The city is marvelous, but the greatest things I remember is the contact with the inhabitants of Köln.
Thanks for the beautiful view of this city.
