Photographer's Note
In 1904 the village of Buchschlag was founded by the Frankfurt traders Jakob Latscha and Rudolf G. Binding. In 1909 the village has already 343 of inhabitants, in 1977 about 290 inhabitants. Buchschalg could retain its mansion colony character until today: many old art nouveau mansions in the local centre are well-preserved until today and stand as an ensemble under protection.

Achim,
Nice shot of this home. The angle of the shot works well giving the scene depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The fence leads the eye through the shot nicely.

Hallo Achim,
noble "Hütte", die Du da abgelichtet hast, läßt den Eindruck von reichlich "Kohle" aufkommen..
schönen und sonnigen Tag noch, Gruß Bernd

Hallo Achim,
A beautiful house, with an elegant architecture very well caught in this framing in a slight diagonal to accentuate its lines and its geometry.
There is a nice contrast between the house and the huge trees that surround it.
I like the light and the colors of the photo.
Friendly regards,
Josep

Hello Achim,
A fine composition of this very attractive looking house. I like the diagonal perspective and the framing from the little fence. Very good light and colours and excellent sharpness.

Hi Achim,
The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition. The fence and the trees are framing well the house. The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the architecture of the house. The light is enhancing the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hallo Achim!
Interessant! Nie gehört - also wieder etwas gelernt! Das scheint ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen zu sein und die Umgebung ist wirklich einladend. Das wirklich schwierige und grelle Licht hast Du gut gemeistert!
Grüße aus dem regnerischen - aber warmen - Westfalen!

A certain quaint charm permeates this scene, Achim, and you've captured the feeling well. The image is well-exposed; you convey some of the form of the place; and I like the way the view emphasizes the white picket fence.

Hello John
Hessen is the only place I have been in Germany(long time ago) but did not have the chance to see such a house... I noticed there are many windows and a beautiful roof made of slate tiles. Exposure and colors are great!
Cheers

Allo Achim
Thanks for your visit in my album.
I remenber the houses in trees of my youth that were'nt
so beautifully built and decorated!!
You managed well the exposure in such difficult lighting; lines on garage door and light shades of beige are visible in lighter areas of DOLL HOUSE.
Have a nice weekend.

A very sophisticated roof which makes a nice architectural picture. This little village seems well worth a visit.
All the best,
