Photographer's Note

This is the only working railway in Ahr valley upstream from Walporzheim: a monorail track used by the viniculturists to reach their very steep vineyards.

Which they successfully did: the 2021 harvest has been completed. It will be the economical basis for the survival of their vineyard estates.

Destructions by Ahr river begin just a little below the frame. For a totality see "Flood ... 25".

The nature are the best painter in the world, also coming the autumn through the vineyard nice to colour, this is wonderful
Wonderful composition, nice presentation too.
