Ehrenbreitstein is a fortress high above the Rhine river on the eastern bank. It offers great views to Rhine and Moselle rivers and the city of Koblenz.

Hello Kari,
A slightly difficult light means that this may not be your technically best photo, but it's well composed and shows a lot of interesting things, which I find much more important than technical perfection. The rainbow makes it eye-catching, and so do the diagonally moving cable cars and the barges on the bending river. The town surrounding the church is well placed to the side.

Hello Kari,
The picture reminds me a bit of the headland Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. But still, this photo shows another location.
In Deutsches Eck I cannot remember to have seen a church that close to the river.
Nicely taken with the ropeway and with the rainbow.

Astonishing sight from the height above the river managed to fit in different objects with interest: First saw the rainbow, than the river with its typical long vessels, the cable-cars and the beautiful town on the curving bank.
Notable strong water current.

Lovely panoramic view about the area.
Of course the gondels are the real eye catchers on this nice picture.

Hello Kari, Fantastic view of the Mosel and Rhein Rivers. The part of the rainbow and the wagons of the cableway are the additional attraction. Did you go by this cableway? Interesting light.

Good depth and layering with the grassy knoll at right and the cablecars angled across the Rhine River, then a barge and further back the rainbow and town on 2 sides of the river. Tfs!

Hi Kari,
Wow you have been in this amazing viewpoint at the optimal moment! The view itself is fantastic, you included the fragment of the town with charming characteristic tower next to the riverbend and there are several ships turning around there but also two cable cars. The right corner seems all natural with autumnal colors, I suppose without the snow it stays like that over the winter as well.
The light was magnificent with the few fragments of the scene perfetly lit as if by a spotlight. The rainbow is an extra bonus, I have never had a chance to spot a rainbow in a beautiful place like this.

Hello Kari, the rainbow takes this shot to another level, it’s colours are so clearly defined.
An excellent view from the fortress. The sunlight shines beautifully on the river and the cable cars and the buildings including the church.

La présence de l'arc en ciel est un atout à la composition. Vous avez bien capturé le déplacement des cabines du téléphérique. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des bateaux, des immeubles et de l'église. BBonne soirée.
