The river Erkyna crosses the center of the town Livadia.
The region is the source of the river, known as the Krya, it is a beautiful park, located at the exit of the canyon.
The Krya, which is the principal place of recreation and promenade of the inhabitants is a region of unique beauty with ancient trees and other forms of vegetation, abundant water, many clusters of small waterfalls, arched stone bridges of considerable aesthetic value and amazing technique, dating from the Ottoman era until the beginning of the century. . In Krya allegedly was in ancient times, the oracle of Zeus Trophonius the sources of Lethe and Mnemosyne, which was the precursor for Delphi and assembled a great power and wealth.

To the west of Kria, with the towering steep hills is the medieval castle of Livadia,. The area have many traditionally industrial buildings from the first period of industrial development in the city (19th and early 20th century).
