Photographer's Note

a teacher wrote me!
This undoubtedly complex function of photography is always moving between two levels, the current and last, what we see and what we imagine, to the outside world and inner world, requires an absolute respect for the great simplicity of the photographic medium. In other words, to understand and accept that a tree photographed by Eugene Atget or another photographed by Ansel Adams is nothing more or less trees, but they express very significant differences in content, due to what every photographer "carries" and instinctively invokes the click of the camera.

Also other great artists, photographers wrote:
There’s no rhyme or reason to what makes a great photo. Most of the time it is pure chance and a quick shutter finger, but other times it is planning, ingenuity and sometimes even stalking. Chelsea Roberson

Photography is the art of being able to see the world one moment at a time, and still being able to make sense of it all. Jason Raddin

To the question: "What advice would you give someone who is interested in trying street photography?"

1. Shoot a lot of pictures. Experiment. Don’t go out with preconceptions of what a picture will look like. That will block you from being receptive to something new and exciting.
2. Constantly ask yourself, 'what the heck would what I'm looking at look like framed, still, two-dimensional, in black and white'? If the search for an answer gets your heart pumping, makes your throat dry and you become kind of gooey inside, it's love. Don't fight it. Take out that Leica M that you're still paying off and start shooting. Mason Resnick
