This is my photo of the Athos Mt. from a boat.
This picture reminds me a view of TERRA INCOGNITA from the movies and books.

The Athos Mt. is a mountain and peninsula in Macedonia, Greece. A World Heritage Site and autonomous polity in the Hellenic Republic, Athos is home to 20 stavropegial Eastern Orthodox monasteries under the direct jurisdiction of the patriarch of Constantinople. Today Greeks commonly refer to Mount Athos as the "Holy Mountain".

Wonderful view from the sea on a grand and impressive mount. Republic of monks on Mount Athos is a wonderful, mysterious and magical place. Great picture in the key of blue. Excellent quality.

Hello Serghei,
This is basically a simple and uncomplicated composition, but it's so beautiful. Just the dark blue sea, the hazy rugged peak and the lighter blue sky with a very slight touch of pink. A great view.

Hi Serghei
A simple compo that works with the mountain as strong focal of interest but not lacking of foreground interest though. The textured water in the deep blue water provides such a superb overall contrast, but the glimspe of dash light on the misty mountain is wonderful addition. This shot has the atmosphere coupled with strong visual impact creating the desired mood in the frame and just enough to make the picture beautiful and interesting title too. Great shot and thanks for sharing.
