North Beach view at Lindos, a photo from Dodekanisos, South Aegean

Photographer's Note

A view from my Pension in Lindos. Wishing now I had gone down to this beach on the north side of the village. I kept going to the southern beach of St Paul's Bay. Lindos is about 48 km south of Rhodes town. Be careful of slippery steps after rain ;-)

The kind of picture (and view!) i enjoy a lot : mountain landscape and sea , with a til roofed house and bougainvilea in the FG .

A colourful and pleasant looking coastal scape bathed in warm light, but what a strange coastal scape. The shades of gorgeous blue water is indeed a strong eye puller and inclusion of the red roof sort of adding a good sense of depth in it with nice glimpse of distant mountain. A good place for relaxation or just to kill the time. Real cool shot, Congrats

Beautiful view of this beach, surrounds are still green in May. How was the water temperature? I like the red roof and the magenta flowers in the lower half of the frame, balancing the greens and blues in the upper half.

One of Rhodos most beautiful beaches, a heaven to photographers and also for the simple tourist who looks for a stunning island sceneries.
Superbly taken with the purple flowers and the turquoise water color.
