Hello David -

This is a nice image - I like how you have composed the shadow as the focus of interest rather than the palm. I like how the colors for the trees, flowers, and wall all work together to form a pleasing image. I can just smell the blossoms sitting here in Denver. My only comment is that the sky looks a bit odd. Well done!

Hi David,

The wall care for a excellent perspective together with the splendid shadows through the palm trees, but also the blue sky behind the trees give a excellent colour and composition.

The shadow really is the star in this shot. I am pleased you included it all in the frame. I also like the detail of the "canon balls", which seem to be forming a base for the shadow rather than the tree.
