A lot of my early work, especially the reflections, was about what I call the surrealism of everyday life...picking out the strangeness in the world we live in. Those doors are doors that could lead you to other worlds, or what is behind what is in front of you. - Stephanie Torbert

The beautiful scenery is there, but it cares not for pleasing composition or the quality of light at any moment in time. This is where the artist comes in, arranging in a frame the scattered elements into a story, anticipating and chasing the light, bringing it all together to create an evocative image capable of communicating the visual experience and impressing the grandeur of a fleeting moment on viewers for generations to come. - Guy Tal

The answers are ambiguous – the image needs to be complex but not to a point of clutter, or it needs to be simple but not to a point of being too literal. It needs to have a message yet without the message being too obvious… or too obscure. Confused? If so, you have just learned an important lesson – art does not follow hard and fast rules, and thus transcends any attempt at a ubiquitous definition. - Guy Tal

another cracking late afternoon reflections and the range of colors is just superb, the way the low side lighting is picking out just the sides of the boats is beautiful. The light is fantastic and all the vibrant rich colours is outstanding! Well done

Πολύ όμορφη φωτογραφία με ωραία, ζωντανά και λαμπερά χρώματα, καθαρά και αρμονικά σχήματα που αλλάζουν ταυτότητα ως αντανακλάσεις πάνω στο νερό. Μου αρέσει πολύ ο φωτισμός και το βάθος και η λάμψη των χρωμάτων. Μπράβο και ευχαριστώ!

This one jumped out at me from your recent gallery. Wonderful reflections with good colour & saturation. The yellow & red boats contrast superbly against the rich deep blue of the water. The angled pov works well. Tfs!
