Skiathos island - The native island of the great Greek prose writer Al. Papadiamantis.
A wonderful island overflowing with greenery. Boasting beaches with crystal water, golden fine sand and cool shady places beneath the shade of the gigantic pine trees. Koukounaries beach, Agia Paraskevi beach is the must be spot ,where you can spend the whole day,having also lunch in Greek Traditional Tavernas.

What a beautiful photograph! There are so many wonderful details and they were perfectly captured by you: suitable sharpness, correct exposure, the choice for the vertical format was very good, the pov was very well chosen and the composition was cleverly done!
I wish I could be there... without the daily working problems... o well... better look at it and dream!

The vertical frame works very well here emphasising how the village rises up in tiers from the quayside to the church with even more houses on the hillside behind. Very good colours and clarity.

Attractive sight to discover the beautiful architecture and the magnificent nature of the Sporades.
The pink of roofs contrasts very harmoniously with pines and hills of olive trees.
Skiathos is a beautiful island even if it's a little bit crowded for me! (in summer!)
