Xanthi is organizing the largest carnival in Northern. Greece and the second largest in the whole Greece.

The city's bars and pretty streets of the Old Town welcome thousands of people for a wild party.

In the wider context of Thracian Folk Festivals, organized many cultural events, concerts and exhibitions

This is a fun photo, and the bright colors are great. This looks more like a Pinocchio festival than carnival. :-) Do you know what group these people were a part of? I assume there were other costumes, too, but these are very eye-catching.
