Photographer's Note

Karavelia (psaronia) is one of the 475 species of birds that can be found in Europe. The majority of them (436 species) can be found in Greece. Before last year's fires, more than 100 species could be found in Parnitha mountain alone.

Καραβέλια είναι ένα από τα 475 είδη πτηνών στην Ευρώπη. 436 από αυτά μπορούμε να τα συναντήσουμε στην Ελλάδα. Πριν τις καταστροφικές φωτιές, πέρυσι, πάνω από 100 είδη μπορούσαμε να τα συναντήσουμε στην Πάρνηθα.

Great shot of nature in action, one can almost hear the sound of the birds calling and the flap of their wings. Very effectively captured!
