About the story:

just a little celebration for my 1200 th picture here at TE so far..

About the picture:

a little memory back to a stay down in Greece in 2003, the beach of Loutsa / Vrachos region, to be seen from above the road E 55 (Igoumenitsa - Preveza nearly at the half of the road..)..
showed this picture several years ago, now a bit digitally remastered.. picture had been done with my "old" 3 MP camera in 2003!

Außerhalb des grünen Buschwerk und Kiefern auf einem hohen Berg, auf dem Sie sich, es sieht schön griechischen Küste, mit langen, breiten Strand. Exzellente Komposition und Farbe in perfekter Bildschärfe.

Hi bernd, Impressive milestone - 1200. I still must wait a bit to achieve this. Fine picture you chose for this occasion. May congratulations!! The holidays in Greece must be wonderful, with such a pristine beach, white sand, emerald water, pine trees.

Good morning Bernd,
with the first glance i thought that the image was taken in Attica,Athens but i know there there are not pines and rocks.Reading your note i had recognised the beach of Loutsa in Prevesa.I like the great view of the sandy beach,through the pine trees.

A fine image to mark a significant milestone. I felt exhausted at 100 - 1200 is beyond the call of duty.
You have shown us some wonderful views of your home area, and given me much inspiration with your bookmarks, reverse postings, mini series etc. So thank you for that.
And this, I shall not look for your original posting, too many to look through, but your treatment now has given us a fine image of a lovely looking spot, cleverly peaking out from the trees.

Hallo Bernd. Ein Photo wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Der Blick von oben auf den Strand ist wundervoll. Mir gefällt, wie Du den Vordergrund mit den Bäumen und den eigentlichen Strand kombiniert hast. Feine Komposition, natürliche Farben. Gruß, Wolfgang.

I didn't see the old version of this "digitally remastered" photo, but in any case I like very much what I see here:)
The image looks a bit "soft" (or maybe blurred ?) but this is what makes it so nice :))
And the combination of warm colours makes this place look attractive :)
