Photographer's Note

The green landscape of western Corfu seen from a terrace near a place called 'Kaiser's throne'. German Kaiser Wilhelm went every year before WW1 for holidays to Corfu. It is said that his famous place for watching sunset was here near the village of Pelekas. I agree with the Kaiser: It is really a great place.

As we can see here , Ionian islands are very different than the Kyklades . what a lush green vegetation !

Hello Roland, and I agree with you and the Kaizer, the view is really magnificent. And during the sunset it must be fantastic. Nice mountains covered with the dense forest. Beautiful lush vegetation. łovely composition with the vase, indicating that you are on the terrace of the villa.
