Athens Concert Hall

The Athens Concert Hall (Greek: Μέγαρον Μουσικής Αθηνών, Mégaron Mousikis Athinon) is a concert hall located in Athens, on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue.

The Hall was inaugurated in 1991 with two halls. Since then it has been augmented with two more halls and now has a total of four: two large and two smaller ones. The Hall has optimal facilities for opera performances, and some operas are presented every season.

The Megaro Moussikis station of the Athens Metro is just outside the Hall, on Line 3.

The design of the 8,000 square meters floor was performed by Christopher Alexander; the process of designing and laying the floor and its result are described in his work The Nature of Order: An Essay on the Art of Building and the Nature of the Universe.

Wonderful atmosphere on stage portraying the string quartet performing their best and there's a great space for them -and the light just makes it more wonderful. The exposure is fine under such conditions with fine colour where flash would have killed this. This is a very accomplished piece of work, no evidence of camera shake. Extremely well done

An excellent photo of this concert, you captured the musicians from a great, high viewpoint. The lighting is excellent and you handled it really well. It makes the people stand out so well from the darkness in the background.

Hello Danos,
It's an attractive and well composed photo with amazingly fine sharpness and light. The diagonal positions of the musicians and singer give the photo fine balance. The fine light across the stage is attractively framed by the dark areas.

A good downward pov on the musicians with excellent color, sharpness, saturation and lighting. I like that we can just see some of the audience for context. Tfs!
