scenery port view -Agios Agios Konstantinos is a seaside town and port in the regional unit of Fthiotida, in the region of Central Greece. According to the 2011 census, Agios Konstantinos has 2,471 inhabitants. Administratively, it is the seat of the Municipal unit of Agios Konstantinos, which is located in the Municipality of Kameni Vourla. According to the Kapodistrias plan, it was the seat of the Municipality of Agios Konstantinos. It is 48 kilometers from Lamia and 167 kilometers from Athens.

In the place where Agios Konstantinos is located in antiquity, there was the city of Opunto Lokra Dafnoundas, which was also their most western city. The city was an important port and was walled. Parts of the wall are preserved in the "Bodys" location. Settlements began to be created in the area during the Turkish occupation, such as Vorlovos, Evlogia and Neohori. In 1832, a Byzantine icon of Saints Constantine and Helen was discovered on the site of Grados, and the inhabitants of the pre-existing settlements moved there, creating Saint Constantine. After the earthquakes of 1894, a large part of the settlement was destroyed. The settlement was then rebuilt based on an urban plan. The construction of the Athens-Thessaloniki highway in the 1960s, which passed through the settlement, turned it into an important holiday tourism destination. The national road passed through the town until the new road alignment was completed in 2007, which bypasses Agios Konstantinos.

Agios Konstantinos has a port which is connected by ferry to the northern Sporades, with Agios Georgios Lihadas in Evia and Volos. It also has a rural dispensary, fire department, pharmacies, KEP, post office and port authority. Sights of the area are the church of Agios Konstantinos with Byzantine mosaics, the old well of the Holy Monastery of Constantine the Great, which was located inside the catholicon of the I. Monastery, which later became the Parish Church of Saints Constantine and Helen and was preserved until the construction of the new I. Church
