Merging, a photo from Argolis, Peloponnesus

Photographer's Note

The town seen in the picture is the new town of Epidavros (Epidaurus). This was taken late in the evening as the day and the storm were dying out. I liked the way the sky and the sea merge into one another, creating an all blue image.

The area is world renouned, thanks to one of the most elaborate ancient theatres in Greece (that would be the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, of course), which is situated there.

There are two towns by the name Epidavros; a newer town lies a few kilometers away.

Hi Ioanna,

a little dark maybe, but a very nice picture to begin with. I'm quite fond of blue myself so I like the way you've captured this. Simple but effective composition. Welcome on TE, hope to see more of these.

Το σχόλιο του Μπάμπη με εκφράζει κατά πολύ.
Οι φωτιστικές συνθήκες ήταν πράγματι πολύ δύσκολες, αλλά κατάφερες να καταγράψεις αυτήν την ενδιαφέρουσα ατμόσφαιρα αρκετά καλά.

I really like the feel of this photo. I know it is not possible to control, but it would be nice to see some lights along the shoreline. Nice shot. Cheers!

Hey Ionanna,
Although I think this picture is too dark, you do an amazing job of conveying the mood of the location. The blue darkness really is powerful. Nice composition as well.
