The Villanyrendőr. A busy junction and a popular meeting point for the citizens of Miskolc. The term Villanyrendőr (literally translates as 'electric police officer') refers to the place of the first traffic light in Miskolc. On this photo you can see the original installation, which was man operated. It was tore down many years ago). The photo shows the almost the same POV (with the National Theatre of Miskolc in the bg.) as my photo.

Hello György,
It's a nice street view with lots of activities going on and a fine clock dominating the foreground. The note confused me a bit. I thought "on this photo..." actually referred to this photo (today's post), so I looked in vain for the old traffic light. I'm not sure where the light is even in the old photo, but I see a policeman sitting in a funny cage.
As usual this is nicely processed.

An excellent streetscape from this appealing town. The many people add a very nice and lively mood. The vertical composition is excellent with the old clock and the tower at right as the most attractive features.

Much street life and it are all pedestrians, or perhaps people waiting for the tram.
Excellent clarity and sharpness.
