Photographer's Note

The river Donau/ Danube splits the city in a west part, Buda, and a east part, Pest. Several bridges connect east and west and this is the prettiest, the 275m Chain Bridge from 1849. It was destroyed by the Nazi's in 1945 and was rebuild and later reopened in 1949.

In the back, the 1749 Buda Castle which now houses the Hungarian National Gallery. The castle surroundings are open 24/7 and at night you can take nice night shots. Stay tuned for those.
