A Trip with a Sleigh 1, a photo from Heves, East

Photographer's Note

Today we made a trip to Felsőtárkány, a nice mountain village in the Bükk Mountains to enjoy the fresh snow. On the main upload (my favourite from today) you can see Fifi (that's how I call these kind of dogs) during her photo session. In the WS you can see me pulling the sleigh with my fiancee (a sweet load) on it and me on the sleigh before a slide.

Hi Gyorgy,you enjoyed yourself as a kid as I can see in WS, even though you had to pull the sled. Fresh snow to have fun on this Sunday, but also a great opportunity for beautiful photos like the black and white backlight of the main photo. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello György,
There seems to have been a very good atmosphere among the persons walking along the lake and those busy with a photo session. It would have been even funnier if Fifi had learned to take selfies. I thought dogs would be smart enough for that. The WS are further proofs of a good day.

Wonderful weather and atmosphere, I'm so jealous! :-) It reminds me of the times when I used to sleigh in Poland.
I like the way you captured the sun, the contrast and the shadows in the main photo. The WS are lovely memories.

Ha! Ha! Gyorgy, is is impossible to take the child out of the man, when it comes to action fun! Just to go and experience the snow is a delight but what fun to use the sledge, too!
A difficult contre-jour shot but one which has worked well, the figures prominent with long, extended shadows and the sun, like a huge star, peeping from the clouds.

A challenging shot as far as light is concerned! A well controlled sun burst and overall exposure while the stark silhouetted figs and their long shadows give a superb lift to this neat shot.

Hello Gyorgy, Pity we see you pulling the sleigh but not your fiancee on it. You had a lot of fun with the sleigh. Strange that you still have one. Finally, winter came almost everywhere in Europe. And I enjoy it only from behind my windows as I am on quarantine.
