Photographer's Note

Last post from this village with an external view, the red hut is the herring museum of which I showed you some photos earlier. The next warehouses were instead the transformation and electrical power stations that served the local packaging industries. In the WS, for those who want, 2 more photos from the museum showing objects used by women in their homes.

I magazzini successivi erano invece le centrali di trasformazione e di energia elettrica che servivano le industrie di confezionamento locali. Lep pogled, interesantan tekst ...
Lepa arhitektura na vodi i priroda, dobro pokazana sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.
Lepo mesto i fotografija.

Bonsoir Luciano,

Les reflets sur l'eau sont des atouts à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du musée et des autres immeubles. La lumière fait ressortir la beauté des couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Good to include an exterior shot of the Herring Museum for place and context. Excellent sharpness with ounchy light contrasts and striking warm cold colour contrasts between the red and tan facades and the blue sky. Superb reflections too. Tfs!

Hello Luciano,
The interior photos are interesting glimpses of life many decades ago, but this view is much nicer. The bright colours of some buildings are enhanced by the clear sky and fine light. Especially I like the contrast of the red building and the green hill behind it. The reflections are nice too.

Ciao Caro Luciano,

WE often see icy, grey photographs from Iceland but this is just about as far away from those as it is possible to get!
The colours of the huts are so vibrant and they are captured on a day when the weather was bright and the sky was blue, creating a superb setting.
The huts are built on stilts, like those we have been seeing from the far east! It just shows the ingenuity of people to use difficult environments no matter where they live!

The weather was so beautiful and this resulted in perfect colours, both the green hills and the red and yellow houses in the middle. The composition is also excellent.

a marvelous visual effect of this red house in FG, its simple shapes added a special aspect to the compo too. we even can see the wild landscape ahead. nice the samples of the museum in WS.

Tonight was the victory party of Italian rock in your bar?
In any case, congratulations.
So there are stilt houses in Iceland? I did not know that.
The red facades of the museum are well reflected in the water.
Presented from a good angle with the steep slopes nicely in the background.
Interesting items in the WS, especially the old irons.

another great post from Iceland, and your way up north, about as north as you can possibly go. You went here on your own? or a tour? its strange if its a tour because its off the main hwy roads. love the red and green color contrasts, and you couldn't have asked for better lighting. Very nice.

beautiful scenery here, I like the outdoor scene more than interiors. The colors are so vivid with the red and yellow houses adding more color to very colorful landscape already.

Great composition of this town throughout the perspective, the museum in that red house draws attention, built on stilts is more original, very close to those mountains I think they will take away the cold.
Very original items used in the past in the museum, some bring me many memories, the plates were not suitable for ironing delicate garments .....
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection, in this beautiful image.

Pensei que fosse na Noruega. Um lugar muito bonita com estas casas coloridas e aquelas belas montanhas ao fundo. O tempo estava ótimo para uma boa renderização das cores . Excelente nitidez e composição. Belo trabalho.
