Impressively barren landscape, Olivier. Seems an odd place for a caution sign, but I'd imagine that is loose volcanic rock, and not safe to drive on. Beautiful dark clouds, with an almost purple tinge to them - another amazing and otherworldly Icelandic shot. Thanks!

une photo sobre et explicite. Tu nous montres superbement les paysages désolés que l'on peut rencontrer en Islande. Un joli mariage entre les couleurs du ciel et de la terre avec une belle touche de couleurs vives qui accroche notre regard. Il se laisse ensuite porté vers cette piste cet horizon austère. Bravo.

Bien vu ce détail coloré qui contraste avec l'aspect sombre du paysage désertique, bon effet de profondeur d'image avec cette route qui chemine vers l'horizon.

Bonsoir Olivier,
Effectivement, ce anneau coloré dénote au milieu de cet univers minéral, je dirais même hostile. La large place réservée au ciel renforce cette sensation d'immensité et, par la même occasion, l'incongruité de la localisation de ce panneau.

Hello Olivier,

You really grasped the photo opportunity here - the image has a lot of tension! The red and yellow of the road sign against the gray is a good capture in and of itself. What I like the most, though, is the seeming endlessness, wherever one looks - ahead, above, or around. The stormy sky potentiates the effect, adds dynamism, and highlights the eery mood. Great work!
