Photographer's Note

I have always appreciated this plant seeing in it a natural elegance that fascinates to me, I hope with this photo to communicate also to you this feeling.
The image is taken in quasi-backlighting.

Some informations about the plant:

Wild Oats (Avena fatua)
Annual grass with hollow erect stems from 0.3 to 1 metre tall; leaves of seedlings twist counter-clockwise when viewed from above; yellow to black seeds with a a bent, twisted bristle (awn); seeds with a circular scar (sucker mouth) at the base.

Me gusta esta sencilla composición, es minimalista y muy bella.
Perfecta textura, color y detalle de las hojas de esta planta de avena, recortada contra un cielo espléndido y con un color muy suave.

Ciao Vinicio,
foto semplice e come dici Tu anche elegante. Ottimo omaggio a questa bella pianta, grazie anche alla nota affianco. La luce mi sembra abbastanza buona, l'unica cosa che non mi aggrada del tutto è il poco contrasto dovuto al colore dello sfondo ottenuto dal cielo blu tendente al grigio. Ottima idea comunque.

"Simplicity" would have been my choice but very often elegance and simplicity go well together. The positionning of the leaves in two direction, vezrtically and horizontally, provide more variey in the composition and you perfectly caught their transparency.

A good illustration of the perfections of Nature.
