Photographer's Note
Hello folks.
This is a photo of the Tower of the Milices (Torre delle Milizie) in Rome. I’m not sure from where I took it, but I think it was from somwhere at the Forum Romanum. This tower was erected probably just in the very beginning of the 13th century. It has a squary base measuring 10,5×9,5 meters and its present height is almost 50 meters. In 1348 an earthquake made the upper floor collapse and the tower got a slight tilt. You can read more about its history here in Wikipedia.
My memory can be a little short sometimes but I think I must have used my tele extender :-)
