The Capitol, once sacred to the Romans and the destination of the triumphal processions of victorious generals, is today the headquarters of the Mayor and the Municipality of Rome.

This photo was taken just off the the side of the Piazza del Campidoglio in the afternoon sun.

This is absolutely gorgeous, I really don't know why no one has commented. The composition is very classic and the light and colour so warm and bright and inviting.
