Photographer's Note
Villa of the Emperor Hadrian (or Villa Adriana in Italian) at Tivoli, Italy, even in ruined condition is one of the most spectacular Roman gardens of which it is possible still to get a sense by visiting the site.

Bonsoir Maeva,
The great German physicist Werner Heisenberg once wrote, "Never underestimate how much pleasure it gives a man to see a place that he already knows." So it is with this superb photograph, and your succinct but informative note for me. I've been to Tivoli and seen this site several times, and your note rejuvenates my enthusiasm to do it again.
Warm regards (amicalement!)
Bulent
