Lucca is a very nice city of Tuscany situated in the plain near the Ligurian Sea.
Lucca is a very ancient (founded by the Etruscan) and medieval city. The famous Renaissance -era city walls of Lucca are intacts and very impressive.

it's indeed a nice city...at least that's what you photo shows. Clever idea to include the bicycles in the frame, it enhanced the depth. Very good work!

Le due biciclette sembrano proprio a loro agio in questa piazza senza auto e costituiscono un primo piano ideale per conferire profondità all'immagine. Il selciato ha delle belle textures ma sono i palazzi gialli ha dare il carattere particolare all foto.
Anche le due signore sono un punto focale interessante.

Guess what Roger? I am actually working (and living) 5 days on 7 twenty Km from Lucca and I still haven't had the chance to visit it! So, well, I can see it's really a nice city, by looking at your pic!

Bonjour, Roger. Les vélos sont bien placés dans ta composition et forment le premier point d'une ligne qui traverse la place via les deux dames. Les pavés de la place contrastent bien avec les couleurs des façades. Je pense qu'un peu d'accentuation aurait pu améliorer ton image.

You framed the image with the bikes in the perfect place in the frame. The yellow buildings of the square are very attractive and catch the eye. The chatting women, although small in the frame, add great interest.

La présence des personnes a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. L'angle de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des immeubles. La grandeur de la place donne un effet de profondeur. La lumière donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirée.

C'est bien une place comme on en trouve en Italie et particulièrement en Toscane. Les deux vélo font un bon premier plan pour donner de la profondeur. Les couleurs et l'architecture font une très belle photo.

Les vélo au plan rapproché donnent une belle profondeur et mettent en valeur la compo.
Les deux touristes couvrent le meme role contre les batiments jaunes au fond.

I think the gent's bike and the lady’s bike are an excellent addition to the composition. Certainly in Italy with all its racing cyclist champions.
