Ponte della Cresa, a photo from Massa Carrara, Tuscany

Uno dei simboli più famosi di Pontremoli è il Ponte della Crësa. Con le sue arcate a tutto sesto e la sua particolare costruzione quattrocentesca fa da sfondo a eventi suggestivi come il Falò di San Geminiano e il festival di rievocazione storica Medievalis. Alle sue spalle lo splendido panorama collinare, dove spiccano il Castello del Piagnaro e il centro storico. Proiettandosi sopra il greto del torrente Verde, il ponte collega la parte nuova di Pontremoli al borgo medievale, creando un affascinante luogo di passaggio tra passato ancestrale e presente.
Peccato che era terminata da poco un festival medievale e si vedono alcuni pezzi in giro che danno fastidio.

Not sure why this photo has 0 pts so far, it should have alot more - but I think its more so about the lack of activity on the site. It may be too bad you missed the festival, its also too bad their isn't any water there :) Imagine this bridge having a sweet water reflection! Its cool how it connects the two different parts of the towns. excellent subject with these large wide arches. cheers

Ce pont d'une grande beauté architecturale du 15e siècle enjambe joliment une ancienne rivière (détournée ?).
L’ensemble se regarde avec intérêt.
Espérons que la fête médiévale se passe dans de bonnes conditions.

Un bon angle pour prendre cette vue avec cet ancien pont et ce lit derivière asséchée, jolie luminosité avec ce généreux ensoleillement.

Ciao Carlo, I am back home , but not for long :). Beautiful old stone bridge, lovely houses and castle, but I do not like this garbage under the pillar. I maybe would clone it or cut. Charming the view of the top of the bridge. Lovely medieval city. Such a festival must be great attraction. This bridge reminds me the bridge from Carcassonne.

I like the superb warm cold color contrast between the blue sky and the red flag & roofs. The diagonally aligned bridge adds dynamism to the shot, and provides a focal point. Tfs!

Hello Carlo,
The bridge is elegant and makes a fine bow across the photo, towards the nice view of the town. The flags are also nice focal-points- The clarity and colours also make the view very attractive. It's a pity, which no-one is to be blamed for, that there is no water in the river. However, some people could be blamed for leaving all that junk on the ground.

Hello Carlo,
The river bed seems to have been drained for some reason; in any event it allows us to concentrate on the lovely old stone bridge. I like the angle formed by the bridge and the houses rising up the hillside. Very pleasing lights and colours and some nicely rendered textural detail.

Che peccato che tu abbia perso il festival!

Sono innamorato del ponte che sembra alzarsi al centro e mostrare diversi archi che formano la forza. Diventa un sottile collegamento dal f / g agli edifici e hai mantenuto l'esposizione perfettamente nitida per catturare anche i dettagli materici.
Ma dov'è l'acqua?
C'è un sacco di "cianfrusaglie" sotto il ponte, un tale peccato in un luogo attraente, come questo.

J'ai comme l'impression qu'il y a bien longtemps qu'il y a eu de l'eau coulant sous ce très beau pont de pierres. Juste à voir ce qu'il y a dessous. Cela manque terriblement à ce paysage.
