For a long time, the Sagrantino grape variety was only used for Montefalco Sagrantino passito or to fortify mixed wines. In recent years, producers such as Arnaldo Caprai have started to use it unblended.

This photo has a great atmosphere of autumn. The beautiful orange and yellow tones of the vines match the still green grass and the grey hazy sky. The birds also contribute to the atmosphere.

A moody and atmospheric shot and I always remember the birds flying south in late Autumn when I lived in South Korea, not to be seen again until Spring. Wonderful Fall colours of red, gold and green. Tfs!

A beautiful view of the orange vines on such a foggy day. I like how they slowly disappear into the fog. Also the birds in the sky are a nice extra.

Hello Silvio, the bright orange of the vine leaves stand out on this misty morning.

Fantastic composition with the vineyard. Such a different effect in comparison to the previous one. Same theme and such a different mood! The fog makes an incredible difference. I always prefer the full sun and bright colors but in the autumn the fog may be considered an attribute of the season.
The colors are vibrant enough to get through the fog.
I like also the presence of the birds in the sky.
