Photographer's Note
I took this picture at 2950 meters. The second highest point of the dolomiten the highest point is on the marlmolada where I have been with my brother and my aunt too.
But the view form this mountain was much more better then from the marmolada because here you look to the whole location for skiing on the marmolada you only see the other site of it.
When I saw these person enjoing the view before they go skiing,I thought thats a good compositon, and so I took it.
Hope you like
Regards Toba

Hi Tobias, good composition, with a wonderufl view on the Dolomiti. Good quality and good loght too.
The place is Arabba, and not Arraba and the name of the peak is Marmolada and not Marlmulada...that is too similar to Marmellata...that means jam!
;)
thanks, ciao

Beautiful shot, Toba,
The light and contrast is excellent and the colors are wonderful. What a magnificent view, too. I love the blue tones over the mountains and you have extraordinary detail. Excellent, excellent work! Thank you and warm regards,
Shelly
(You did a great job of framing with the matching blue and black. Very nice!)

Hello Tobias,
An impressive point of view!
Nothing for people with fear of heights...
The view to the distant mountains is well framed, and the colours are simply great!

Hi Toba,
It is funny to think about perception .. I was going to tell you to maybe take the saturation away from the blues and cyans .. and then I read everybody else's thoughts ..
it is a wonderful image .. your framing of the paek with the people is compositionally wonderful and a wonderful aesthetic .. as is the way the "intimate" foreground really sets the scale for the vastness of the landscape .. very nice.
take care,
John

Hello Tobias,
This a great view as you said and you show us a part of that awsome and attractive mountains in a half of the frame !
about colors,I think still you don't control the unreal "syan" color in your snowy works, this could your photo better.
another thing that I must say you is about TOS (Terms of Service in TE)...let's read it together :
No.5 - Photographs of family, friends, or pets (not only one's own) are highly discouraged and may be removed with notice.
I hope your photo be without a problem in that point, but anyway becareful !
I like your shot here !
Best Wishes

Regards.
Daniel.

Tobias,
a very wise move to include this people in the foreground. That is exactly what makes this shot stand out. Without them it would be another snap shot of a mountain landscape. You did a very good placement of the different mountains between the skies and the persons. The light in the front is a little bit dark. It would have been nice to see more details of this couple.
