Franciscan church, a photo from Verona, Veneto

Photographer's Note

A little Franciscan church surrounded from vineyards & cherry trees.
A bucolic view in San Giovanni Ilarione valley (between Verona & Vicenza in the pre-Alps zone - north-east of Italy)
I don't know the name, but the church (very simple as all Franciscan buildings) is probably 1.000 years old because the walls are builded with stones, not with clay's bricks.
The valley is a 'cherrys paradise' because the cherry trees are everywhere.
The withe zones in the background are cherry trees fulfilled of flowers.
Between the church & the backgrond is the San Giovanni Ilarione village.
I hope you can recive from the foto the same quiet sensation as i remember!

Beautiful scene and a lovely shot, Georgio. Nice depth too. I like the four cypresses and the contrast of the bright green grass with the lovely old stone of the church. Just a gorgeous view, very well photographed.

Nice shot, Giorgio. Reminds me of my one day trip in Aosta, Italy, this spring. Too bad for the overcast sky and maybe it needs a little bit more sharpness.

Beautiful composition very well captured with a foreground rich in details and brightness and a background a little blurred. All these points increase the main subject and give a nice focus for our eyes. Very well done !

I definitely get that quiet sensation here. Very calm and very peaceful. Great colors. The grass is excellent and the trees and the church really stand out against it beautifully. The church has very good texture as well as color. It really fits into this landscape so naturally and peacefully. What a beautiful landscape. Very good job.

Yes, Giorgio, i think your photo gave me the same quiet sensation as you remember, lake you say in your note. This is a wonderful shot, the place is really bucolic and i liked your composition, with good perspective and colours. Very nice!

Hi Giorgio. It's often interesting to take a look to TE members' oldies... I like this very nice compsoition that makes us discover a beautiful place. The DOF is good and enhanced by the slightly foggy background. The architecture of the small church is also beautiful. Good use of the foreground, and I wuld like to see quite the same view but with the excentered church (to add dynamism to the composition). Good shot, thanks for sharing !
