In the majority of the countryside houses, here in the Euganei hills, an artesian well was and remain even today a necessity. This in the photo is relatively not too old (only 40 - 50 years) but the structure is almost the same of an very older (see my previous photo Here )
In both cases an artesian well is (for me) a quiet message of harmony with the sourrounding nature.
