Firence had a lion as symbol
this one is on the "Galleria degli Uffizi" on the "Piazza della Signoria" where stand the "Palazzo Vecchio" with some famous renaissance statues...
difficult to shoot anything at this place with nobody, a so touristical place, but I must said it's really a great place and to see all this beauty together is really plaisant; but so much people....
why did the lion look at the sky? because of the bird or because to much people behind?!

Very nice scene. I would not have thought of this as being ticklish, until I read your title and now looking at the photo I want to scratch my own head. The lion really does not look happy with that bird. Nice capture.

Le pisgons tquine le beua lion, géanial captage, espérons qu'il ne le salisse pas trop, le contraste sur ce lion est superbe comme on voit bien le travail de l'artiste, superbe.

La foule t'a permis de resserrer ton cadrage et ça donne force et expression à ce lion.
Mais en a t il assez des gens ou des pigeons qui se promènent sur lui .... entre autre.
