Photographer's Note

The town of Bordighera is stretched along the Lungomare Argentina, the long boulevard that ends at the tiny Chiesa di Sant Ampelio. Right behind it, you can sit on the rocks and enjoy the gentle waves of the Mediterranean Sea softly splashing around you. Sant Ampelio is the patron saint of Bordighera; he was a 7th-century bishop of Milan. The foundations of the little church date back to the 11th century.
