One of the many delightful towns of Umbria, perched on a hill overlooking the Spoleto valley
The origin of Trevi is traced back to the historians in the middle of the 4th century BC. C .; the ancient Umbrian city, in all probability, stood on the hill where it is now. The recent discovery of an epigraph confirms the frequentation of the site by the Umbrians, but in its territory settled prehistoric civilizations, as evidenced by finds from the Palaeolithic.

Hello Silvio,
This is a good composition with the grey building (whatever it is) in front of the picturesque village on the hill slope. The photo is well balanced between grey buildings, dark sky and green areas. The light is very nicely handled.

Hi Silvio,

La composition est bien divisée, le ciel, la ville et la vallée. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des immeubles de la ville. La lumière donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Ciao Silvio,questa vista di Trevi me la ricordo bene, ho dormito in zona per 3 notti durante il meeting di qualche anno fa, tu hai aggiunto questo scempio sulla sinistra ma va bene cosi'...buona serata! Luciano

Hello Silvio,
The town built on the steep hill looks very picturesque and inviting to visit.
Nicely presented under a dramatic sky.
But to be honest, I don't understand why these walls are included in the foreground.

Lepa arhitektura, dobro poakznao sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvascenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze i najavljuju promenu vremena.

I love the foreground detail which flows well across and finally leads the eye to main feature on the hilltop. An appealing landscape with some wonderful natural colour and overall contrast, supported by a very informative write up.

Hello Silvio, I am unsure as what the building in the foreground is or was, but it makes for an interesting feature before I look towards the town of Trevi set high on the hillside.
Lovely sharp focusing.
Natural colours too.

I like very much the dark sky here with the well lit town on top of the hill. It looks as if the town was in a spotlight. At the same time you have included an interesting foreground to enhance the composition.
