Falisca Tomb
The ancient Faliscan burial dates back to the VI - III century. B.C. The tomb is made up of a nut with an under-façade compartment, a ladder-type access dromos and a rectangular chamber with burials arranged within niches in the walls. The compartment of the under-façade preserves in the back wall a false door with an orecchiette proiecturae and the light marked by a recessed box. The typology of the houses is attributable to the "Corchiano rock facade" type

Hello Silvio,
It's a very discreet entrance to the ancient tomb, but that makes it even more exciting. The decorations are simple but show a work by people with a sense of style and elegance. The photo is well taken but I might have cropped or clone-stamped the hand to the left. ;-)

Very interesting ancient tomb. This is how I imagine the biblical tomb of Jesus which was closed with the giant rock.

Hello Silvio, a discreet entrance to the tomb, that could be easily missed.
You have captured it in a lovely light with sunshine and shadows falling across the stones.
I would have cropped/cloned out the hand, just a little distracting.
