Rock Church of San Silvestro - Vasanello (VT)

The rock complex also known as the "Chapel of San Silvestro" is located in the center of the homonymous valley, on the eastern side of a tufaceous spur about two kilometers north of the town of Vasanello.
To reach the church from Vasanello you have to go in the direction of the cemetery, once arrived here keep to the right taking a narrow road first asphalted and then dirt that leads to the Parco dei Fontanili, shortly before reaching it, turn left passing over an old bridge and from here continue on foot.
The access, located in an area characterized by cultivated fields and bordered to the west by the Fontanile ditch, is not easily identifiable, it is necessary to go up a steep slope with only a trace of a path. La végétation aide à cadrer le sujet. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église rupestre de San Silvestro. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. BOnne journée.o

Ciao Silvio,oggi abbiamo anche l'aiutante armato, ci da' l'idea delle dimensioni di cio' che resta di questa chiesa scavata nella roccia, oggi la luce era piu' semplice ed il risultato è perfettissimo. Buona serata,Luciano

It is an interestingly shaped chapel. Nature attempts to take it back with plenty of vegetation around.
I don't like the presence of the man here maybe because he is in a strange pose.
