The church is of Romanesque origin, you can clearly see the layout of the original facade, then it was raised, an oculus and a small bell tower were added.
We tell it in the words of Marco, one of the few inhabitants of the place: "It was all frescoed, over there, above the main altar, the vault was all painted. There were all angels. Then the humidity came and they gave it a refreshed ... ", a coat of celestine, lime paint, and here the humidity and also the frescoes were eliminated which may not have been who knows what work of art, but which , from what little we see, they were of good workmanship and of the sixteenth century.

Hi Silvio,

Le cadrage serré met l'église en évidence. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église de San Lorenzo. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Silvio,
It's a fine building which I could have taken for a farm house, especially considering the green plants in the large pots. The photo is nice, with fine colours and sharpness. Looking at an enlarged view I notice a number of dark spots in the sky.

I really like those little bell towers. I think they always decorate the church so nicely.
