Easter egg in tour, a photo from Milan, Lombardia

Happy Easter to those who celebrate this holiday today. The photo shows the large Easter egg built by school children in Cuggiono and adorned with crochet work done by a group of local women called "Les tricoteuses". The egg was placed in the museum courtyard on an old cart, in the photo you can also see a large vat for squeezing grapes. 15 days ago the same egg was placed in the main square during the small fair that was organized to raise funds for Ukraine (see WS).

Buona Pasqua a chi celebra oggi questa festa. La foto mostra il grande uovo di Pasqua costruito dai bambini delle scuole di Cuggiono e adornato con lavori fatti ad uncinetto da un gruppo di donne del paese chiamate "Les tricoteuses". L'uovo è stato posizionato del cortile del museo sopra un vecchio carretto, nella foto potete anche vedere un grosso tino per la spremitura dell'uva. 15 giorni fa lo stesso uovo era stato collocato nella piazza principale durante la piccola fiera che era stata organizzata per raccogliere fondi pro Ucraina (vedi WS).

Buona Pasqua a te! This is a cute and colorful Easter scene. I just wonder, is there really something inside that giant egg...maybe a lot of candy or chocolate? ;-) This egg seems to be traveling around your town, and it is very photogenic. Take care!

A beautiful work with the giant egg in evidence in blue and the chicks in yellow. here they use the rabbit as a symbol instead, not the chick. probably because the chick is the nickname of the penis here.

It is beautifully decorated with the crocheted squares, and I can appreciate the time that it must have taken to prepare it before it went out on show.

You have composed the photo nicely, the focal, blue egg nicely positioned off-centre, yet balanced by the barrel-shaped features to the right.
