Porzano Castle

The small town is currently located in a peripheral position with respect to the busiest communication routes.
In the past, however, it was located on one of the main roads for Spoleto.
In medieval times it was one of the first castles to be part of the Terre Arnolfe, the great fiefdom, first of imperial property, then ceded to the church.
In 1332 it was part of the castle of Castiglione, with 21 fires it paid 29 money and 1 denier of focatico tax.
In 1356 he was sentenced to pay a fine for not having wanted to send one of their representatives to the parliament called in Montefiascone, by the rector of the Heritage.
In 1364 it is mentioned in the chamber register of Cardinal Albornoz with the name of Pruzano.

Hello Silvio,
There is a good view through the nearest arch and also fine details on the outside wall. But maybe the nicest part of this view is the shadow of a tree covering the street. What could have been a dull and empty area is instead filled with a beautiful pattern that somehow makes the entire photo more lively. This is partly thanks to your good exposure.

J'apprécie les ombres proche du château. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de cette partie du château de Porzano. La lumière donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Wonderful brickwork and the tree's shadow makes a wonderful lacy pattern. The bit of sky top left gives a lovely splash of colour.

Well presented with an interesting frame and this effect like a pyramid in the middle of the view, I like the composition with perspective result and this Fg with shadows of these branches, tfs.

Hello Silvio, a beautifully sharp shot of this detail of the walls, the arch and the buttress.
The shadows of the trees are the 'icing on the cake', as we say.
The sunlight was perfect.
