Castagnola

The oldest image of the castle dates back to 1691 and is depicted in the cycle of frescoes concerning the Passio di San Felice created inside the cloister of the abbey of the same name. The center, divided into 3 districts (Santa Croce, Del Molino, San Felice), preserves short sections of the ancient walls and remains of ancient buildings; important are the access door to the castle, above which stands the emblem of Todi (single-headed eagle in a half-flight), an evident symbol of the long dominion of the city, and the building of the ancient Municipality. Recently the village has undergone a vast recovery intervention as, in particular, can be seen from the pavement of the characteristic internal streets.

Hi Silvio,

L'étendue de l'endroit donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des arbres du village et des montagnes. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Silvio,
An attractive wide view across the low hills in the slightly hazy sunshine. Quite close to us we see one of your frequent medieval villages, while further away the buildings look spread across a wider area with fewer dense settlements. The photo is well taken with good exposure and fine colours.

Bela vista destas montanhas povoadas e bem espalhadas. Castagnola me lembra castanholas que é um artefato manual usado na música espanhola também. Seria o mesmo nome ?

This is such a lovely countryside ... amazing sights of villages nestling on a peaceful rolling hills.
The evergreen landscape makes the whole scenery ... cool and fresh. So breathable.
I do like the dark-shady area f/g. Giving the two-tone of green landscapes.
