Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

A visit to Milan cannot be complete without a photo of the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest shopping gallery in Italy, built between 1865 and 1877 by architect Giuseppe Mengoni. It was named after the first King of Italy. It has two glass-vaulted arcades with the main one connecting the Piazza del Duomo and the Piazza della Scala.
