Luna Rossa, a photo from Rome, Lazio

Photographer's Note

Goodnight moon.

I have taken this image of the moon that disappears behind the horizon with little time, the moon fell fastly.
In the workshop you can see two images diurnal of the landscape, I hope are useful to understand what I see from my window of the kitchen, beyond the horizon there is the sea.

*zoom 12x (420 with old 35mm)

You have kintchen window shot too! Nice!
You have the shot very well in control, even with that long zoom. Timing was just right. I see the moon is quite close to horizon, being so red. And it does not look quite spherical. I guess it's because of atmospheric distortion.

That moon looks like an orange slice. This is beautifully composed with incredible colors.

Sempre volevo prendere una foto così, ma non la ho presso mai. ottimo il rosso de la luna , la distorzione atmosferica e il tempo désposizione.
Un lavoro molto buono, specialmente per gli amanti dell´astronomia.
