Taken from Erice, Sicily. One of the most stunning castle sights in Sicilia. This really wasn't part of the castle... perhaps a noble resided here?

I like the composition, and especially the angle at which you captured it. Usually it's from the bottom looking up.

This is a great picture. It is a different angle than what we normally see of castles. I would imagine a normal shot would be from those stairs on the left. The sharpness is just right as are the colors. I also like the inclusion, rather than cropping, the rock wall leading up to the tower from the right. The tower culminates the line nicely.
